All I want for Christmas is for Alyse to get her teeth!!

Alyse has been very secretive about the two new additions in her little mouth. I wish I had pictures to show how stinkin cute they are, but I accidently dropped our camera and even after Jerm disecting it, it is forever broken! Alyse has been having a little trouble sleeping at night, but has been taking more naps during the day, and is always trying to grab my fingers and stick them in her mouth.

We are 23 weeks pregnant now!! Our baby is 8 inches long from crown to rump, and weighs 1 pound. Last week when we went to the ultrasound we got a very good view of a perfectly formed little baby girl!! We saw her clenching her fists, and I know that she is strong because she has been kicking harder than Alyse did and most of the time it catches me off guard and scares me! Since I am going to a midwife that owns her own ultrasound machine, she allowed me to take hold of the wand and look at my baby from any angle I wanted!! It was really cool!

Alyse saw a little 2 month old baby yesterday at church, and she oooo'd and awwww'd and craned to look at the little girl. I gave Alyse a baby doll the other day and taught her how to give kisses!!! She opens her mouth wide and plants big slobbery kisses on our cheeks now! We are also trying to teach Alyse how to be quiet and how to whisper... so that when baby Claire comes, she will know how to talk around a sleeping baby... I know she might be too young, but she is pretty smart, and I figure if Jerm can teach her to yell at the top of her lungs until her face turns red- we could probably teach her how to whisper.

Jerms twin brother Nathaniel is engaged now! He will be marrying Megan in the SLC Temple on Aril 11th @ 9AM! We are REALLY excited for them both!! We will head back to Idaho on the 8th of April, in time to travel to SLC for the day, then we will be moving into our apt. in Hyde Park on either the 13th or th 14th!!

YAY for teeth! Sorry about your camera. Cal had trouble sleeping too, so we let him cry through the night and it seems to be working. I love the name Claire! I can't wait to see you in April!

I am so glad that I found your blog. Yay for Alyse getting teeth. I wish my little one would get them already. Congrats on the upcoming baby. Good luck with everything.
